The 20x20
The 20x20 is a collection or witers and artists that were brought together by the Jackpine Writers' Bloc. We chose twenty artists and they submitted twenty works and were matched up randomly with twenty writers. The writers were given a certain length of time to write a piece inspired by the artwork they were paired with. With all writings complete, the collection was called the 20x20 and hung for several weeks in a coffee shop on main street of Park Rapids.
The 20x20 was a great success and a book was published to capture the collection (click here for purchasing information). After a wonderful reception where all of our participants were able to meet and some to read it was decided that the JWB would plan to one day do another 20x20.
